The Journey of EVSpot
The Beginning
EVSpot was born from a simple observation: as Kenya's EV adoption was growing, reliable data about charging infrastructure was scattered and often inaccurate. Our founders recognized the need for a centralized, community-driven platform that could provide real-time, verified information on charging stations.
We started by mapping just a handful of stations in Nairobi, manually verifying each location, and building the foundation for what would become Kenya's most comprehensive EV charging database.
